The pipeline supplying our town and neighboring towns with running water was washed away in floods about 3 weeks ago. While there are tanks placed around town to collect water, many elderly persons cannot and do not have the means to collect water. There are water tankers driving around filling up water tanks for those who have them on their property. I would like to raise funds to buy water tanks for the elderly and those incapable of traveling to get water. And while there is water supplied, I would also like to buy drinking water for these persons. Water is life. It is not something any of us can go without.
