HELP NEEDED FOR MY FAMILY!!

Its been almost a year since my fiances son was wrongfully accused of a crime he did not commit. We have been doing all we can for him but the funds we were counting on to get a real lawyer for him were taken away. Melvin is the kindest, smartest, most athletic young man you will ever meet. His father went on numerous D1 college tours with him, he had a full basketball scholarship, and a very bright future. Unfortunately his name was mixed up with some bad seeds and he now sits in jail with a public defender who only looked at his case for the 1st time when he went to court. The state didn't even have any evidence on him yet still wanted him to take a charge for robbery. He is an innocent, young black man being held in custody over hearsay. We are asking for any help at all to get him a credible lawyer to finally prove his innocence. If anyone can donate money to help give us a down payment on a lawyer it would be a blessing and beyond greatly appreciated. Just think..if this was your son..wouldn't you give any and everything to help him clear his good name?
