Help Needed for Chronic Condition

Hi,

This campaign is to help my major concern of the chronic condition of head tension/migraine and insomnia . Well, I do have other health symptoms such as Osteoarthritis and tinnitus which added stress to the bothering problems. The episode started as followed.

2 years ago, I was a vibrant lady full of aspirations for the future. I came from prestigious school and was highly regarded among my peers. I had been in the information Technology industry for more than 10 years and supposedly to have a fulfilling career. Unfortunately, on a day, I started to experience stress with work , relationship and family issues and my body started to go off balance. I started to have chronic fatigue and took the sleeping pill which is of benzodiazepine class of medication ignorantly. I got hooked up I.e. addicted just after a week and had serious insomnia unless I changed the medicine. There wasn't any choice at all at that time except to try for other psychiatric medicine.

Therefore, I was kind of put on a type of anti depressant for sleep which was only suitable for my body till now. The psychiatrist didn't actually run a rule out test for other physical condition that may cause the insomnia. My family had tried to put me on TCM medication which didn't work for me as well as my body is oversensitive to TCM medication. A slightly overdose of TCM medicine can cause disturbance to my sleep as well as tinnitus issue. Over time, the psychiatric medicine may cause side effects especially dry mouth and some others, of which I experience dry mouth everyday. The worst part of it is that it can develop dependency and the withdrawal from the medicine is unimaginably hard though doc aways give a smile and says, "You can taper off later" . Yup, how much effort is needed to do this and the medicine may not necessarily solve the root cause. Those of you who have had pys. med. knows what I am talking about.

Now, the daily torture of the tension headache could be due to the medicine or could come from other sources.. Due to having long term chronic conditions as above, I wasn't ready to get myself a full time work . Despite of this, I tried my best effort to work part time from home.

The journey was not as smooth as I could think. After working for sometime as a part timer, I still experienced some discomfort at some stage and requested a temporary halt to work. However, getting back the same assignments wasn't easy either and till present my job search is of no avail.

At a certain cross road, I tried to turn to friends and family who could only offer minimum help. I was rather despair as there weren't any so called Samaritans among my friends. That is the reality in life.

I came across Meditherapie recently which has a totally different philosophy of healing.

I went to the centre and hope to get it's treatment.

The centre has one of the world's most advanced therapies including bio photon, oxygen etc.

I learned that I may need a course of 10 to 20 treatment sessions which added up to be approximately $2 to $4 K.

Therefore the fund raised in this campaign will be used for my chronic condition treatment as above as well as some sessions of TCM physio treatments. The balance of the amount will be saved to start a freelance home business so that I can tide over the financial tough times and be self independent.

After reading my case, I appreciate that there will be good Samaritans around so that I can be back on track to pursue my life that was used to be wonderful and fulfilling. Thank you.
