Help needed for 1-year old girl with rare Kawasaki Disease

We are raising money for my nephew's one-year old daughter, Elleine Karly, (technically my grand daughter) who was recently diagnosed with Kawasaki Disease. This is a rare childhood illness that affects the blood vessels. If not treated on time, it can harm the coronary arteries which carry blood to the heart muscle. Early diagnosis and treatment is important to prevent future heart problems.

Elleine is still confined at Jesus Delgado Memorial Hospital and was given treatment of Immunoglobulin (IVIG) medicine. This is given through a vein (intravenous, or IV) to reduce inflammation of the blood vessels. The cost is P 28,000 per shot and she needed four shots of this treatment which totals to P 112,000. She still needs to undergo a 2-D Echo test to make sure that her heart is not affected by the disease and/or prevent any congenital heart disease. The running hospital bill is now at P 140,000, not including the doctors' fees yet.

Her father, my nephew Justine, and her mother Juzelle, are young parents at 21 years old. Both are contractual workers who just recently started with their jobs but needed to take a leave of absence since they needed to be by Elleine's side during this time. They don't know what the total cost of treatment will be, but we felt we needed to start something to help alleviate any financial stress so they can focus on the treatment and healing. The money donated will be used to pay for medical expenses and to help with daily living expenses.
