Help needed! – Accusation lawsuit by my former employer (company) – NOT FAIR!

Jobs are scarce here and I’m unable to secure one to support myself and my family.
And now, a lawsuit has been opened and aimed towards me.

Hello, my name is Akimi (my real name is hidden to prevent this fundraising from being brought down by the authorities), I am 21 years old, and I was working with one of the renowned companies in Sabah, Malaysia - initially as an administrator for estimated around 8 months (since September 2017, before becoming a supervisor last week, and in less than 30 days (starting from 29^th of April).

What’s up with the ‘was’ word?

I have been sacked today (the day this fundraising has been launched) because I have reported corruption cases inside the company to the anti-corruption authorities with physical evidences, starting from fraud to ‘give, accept and take’ secret policy of the company.

But not long after the day I report it, the company I’ve used to worked in has instantly sacked me for the reason of ‘stealing company’s data to send it to third parties’. Investigation on the company by the anti-corruption department is still on the way, but I’ve been falsely discovered and accused of stealing.

Not long after that, I have received both summons and lawsuit from the said company via their lawyer’s firm and have been required to pay fines for the sum of MYR 55,000 (around $14,000). I’ve managed to get help from my friends, family and relatives, as well as selling my crucial and only transportation (my car) and collected about MYR 5,000 (for about $1270), but this isn’t enough for me to pay them. Countering their lawsuit is far more expensive, so I’ve decided to choose to settle down their lawsuit that they directed towards me.

So, with full sincerity and humbleness, I ask help of anyone of donation to fund me in settling down my summons and lawsuit fines.

Why did I report it?

Bribe is one of the main causes of corruption that is seriously need to be handled to preserve integrity of an organization. I just cannot let this happen widely because it’s not just hurting an organization’s reputation, it also hurts a country’s reputation and integrity, and it has also hurting my own, as well as smearing my good name.

Why did you not reveal your real identity?
I am now at risk of being done anything, including being hurt by the ones who is loyal to the company’s boss, and this includes my family and relatives. I will also have a chance to not being hired by another company(ies) since I’m now having a court-involved case, and currently, it’s still ongoing. That being said, until the time is right, I will not reveal my identity here for the sake of safety.

If you know all of the risk that you will face because of your actions, why do you do it?
Like I said, I cannot just let it pass like that, and I don’t want to be caught by the authorities instead for being an accomplice to the company’s corruption. It hurts my reputation and I have a very big chance not to be hired by another company(ies) for that.

I would not lie. I am serious. My life is in risk because of my rightful actions.

Why bother asking for our help if that’s your decision to get fired? Why won’t you face consequences?
That is because I do the right thing. Do I have to face consequences for doing a good, right thing? In my perception, I should not face the lawsuit and summons for giving evidences to the anti-corruption authorities.

But you did give those crucial files from your company to another, yes?

No, honestly not, absolutely. That is against the law. The only one that I gave those files are towards the anti-corruption authorities, since it is a very serious corruption issue.
