Help Nate defeat cancer

My dear brother Nate was diagnosed with stage 4 pancreatic cancer on Sept. 28th 2013. The news of diagnoses was shocking after a year of false diagnoses and tests. As he is 27 years old and active, the doctors never even considered his symptoms could have been caused by a life threatening disease like cancer. Nate’s cancer has to be treated aggressively by specialists to contain and shrink the massive tumor in his pancreas so that surgery can be an option in the future.

His biggest worry with his diagnosis is his financial problems and the cost of treatment/travel. After losing his job two years ago, he was struggling to make ends meet by doing odd jobs here and there, with cost of mortgage for his house and bills piling up, he worked day and night as his self-respect always kept him from asking anyone for a hand out. The news of having cancer really hit him hard and he was considering not getting treatment so that whatever savings he had could be used to give his baby girl a comfortable life.

Nate’s life is full of sacrifice and always being there for those in need. He never hesitated to help others with whatever money he had even after he lost his job two years ago, he is always willing to lend a hand or a listening ear. He brightens the lives of everyone he meets with his kindness.
