Amber Cinq-Mars, (Bobcat) is a 13-year-old Black Belt at Sidekicks Martial Arts. She has been training there for seven years and in that time has earned three national championships and a 2nd place finish at the 2019 Nationals which earned her a spot to try out for the AAU National Team which she won.Being on the AAU National Team has been a goal for her and thus starts her journey towards the Olympics.

Natasha Cinq-Mars is a 16-year-old Black Belt, also from Sidekicks and has been training for three years. She is a two-time National Champion and will be competing as a Black Belt this year. Not only do these two compete at tournaments far and wide, they also attend competitions close to home in places all around the Bay Area.

Both Amber and Natasha have high hopes for their future in Olympic Sparring. Amber is attending the US Open in Orlando, Florida as well as the Costa Rica Open with the AAU National Team. Each of them will be competing at the USAT National Qualifier in March in order to compete for the USAT National Championship in San Antonio, Texas at the end of June as well as the AAU National Championship in Las Vegas. Amber will be traveling to Chesapeake, Virginia in August for AAU Team Trials and will be defending her National Team spot.If Natasha does well at the AAU National event, she will also go to Team Trials to compete for a spot on the National Team.

They are writing this letter to kindly ask if you would like to financially sponsor them. Support from friends and family such as yourself, would greatly help offset the cost of tournament expenses which includes but is not limited to entry fees, equipment costs, and travel expenses such as hotel accommodations and airfare. From disciplined cardio workouts to sparring, they train 6 days a week in order to be at their best. Their team helps to push them and inspires them to be the best they can be as role models to younger teammates. In Taekwondo they learn positivity and respect, but also self-defense and self-confidence. It is a sport that creates strong and well-rounded individuals. The girls want to thank you for reading this letter and considering sponsoring them. Their dedication throughout the years has truly gone unmatched, and it would be a shame to see them set back due to lack of financial support.
