My name is Swetha and I'm seeking your help to save my son, Anirudh, who is 3 years old, and he's suffering from Cancer on his left Kidney, 3rd Stage.
My husband has been working in Singapore for the past 9 years, and holding an EP, and myself and Anirdh are holding Long Term Dependent Pass.
On 19th of august 2020, my son went to school Faith Kindergarten at Commonwealth and returned home with stomach pain.
We took him to near by family clinic and waited till next day with proper medication given. But he suffered from continuous vomiting the whole night. So next morning we took him to KK hospital.
The doctors at KK Hospital brought him for MRI Scan, CT Scan, Ultrasound and they confirm there's some mass growing in his left kidney.
Biopsy was done, and the result was very shocking to us! They diagnosed him with Sarcoma Kidney Cancer and he would be requiring an URGENT surgery, otherwise, his life may be at risk as he's only 3 years old! This type of cancer develops in the soft tissue of the kidney; the thin layer of connective tissue surrounding the kidney, called the capsule; or surrounding fat. Sarcoma of the kidney is usually treated with surgery.
The doctors at KK Hospital had done a port-a-cath minor surgery for Anirudh, in order for him to proceed with chemotherapy, which the doctors told us that he will need at least 12 chemotherapy sessions and 6 radiotherapy sessions, it's a very long road to recovery for him.
Even though my husband been working here in Singapore for the last 9 years, but he's only an IT Engineer, and our finances are limited. We have an insurance coverage of $10,000 but that will based on reimbursement basis, and we are unable to come up with the money for the rest of Anirudh treatment. As you might be aware that Anirudh's medical is not subsidised, so we will have to fork out a huge amount of money.
Anirudh is schedule for his surgery to take out the mass on his left kidney as early as 31 August, and we are desperately seeking your kindness and generosity to save my son.
