Campaign Story
My 19year old sister has Stargardts Disease. Stargardts disease is a Juvenile Macular degeneration disease and there is no cure for this. Macular degeneration affects the Retina of the eye and causes centre vision loss... she will be legally blind in a year or 2.
Thanks to incredible technology, there are now devices that can help people with low vision to see more detail, which means she will be ABLE TO SEE HER FAMILIES FACES PROPERLY for the first time since she was 13 years old!!!
This fund raiser is to buy my sister a pair of speciality glasses that will allow her to see better. Unfortunately this technology is very expensive and my family would love her to live a more enjoyable life!!!
