Campaign Story
Last year the first dream of my life came true, and that was to see. Last year I thought that my struggle with my vision was finally coming to an end. I couldn't walk alone, eat by myself, make myself a cup of tea or even notice if something had messed on my clothes. At the age of 31 this was terrifying to know that I would loose my job and that everything would change. But the Lord decided otherwise and through the grace and mercy of those around me I was able to have Cataract surgery and lense implants and can now see amazingly. I had worn glasses since the age of 3, contact lenses since the age of 9 and had never truly seen the world as I now do. So this year as the year began I realised that dreams to come true, we just need to speak them out. My second dream is to have a car, know knowing that my vision is not a disability I dream of having my own car, however my funds are very low and only allow for me to live pay check to pay check. I would appreciate any support I could get to allow my second dream to come true. Those that know you will tell you of the transformation they have seen in me over the past six months, it is as if I have a new outlook on life. Currently I get lifts with people or walk where ever I need to go. Having a car will give the freedom I so desperatly need, it will allow me do so much more, like start ministering in my church and community and being able to help others. Since a young girl I have been passionate about God and although I did stumble a way for a few year, Im thankful that I am back and on fire for God and what He has in store for me this year.
