Campaign Story
Hi! My name is Maria Lourdes Sanchez and I am a nurse here in the Philippines. My nursing journey is quite costly since I set foot to college. I am currently working as a nurse in one of the local hospital in our city but as everyone knows, working here in the Philippines specially as a healthcare worker will not suffice to one’s family need. As a result, I applied to an agency that will bring me to USA and luckily I qualified, however, they don’t give financial assistance for taking NCLEX exam and review as well as the processing of papers before taking the actual exam. I don’t want to burden my family of the expenses as we are already in debt since we started studying and that’s the reason why I am knocking on your door to fund my NCLEX journey. I need a total of $1300 for CGFNS fee($350), review ($600), NCLEX fee($200), and International testing fee of $150. The figure is impossible for me to raise from my current job as I only earn $1/hr.
By the way, if I will be able to work in US, I am planning to do charitable work as a way of giving back to people. I know that as a member of a community, it is my duty to share something to them may it be in cash or in kind. That’s been my long term goal eversince.
