Help My Mother’s Eye Treatment

Hi guys I'm Manoj.M. I'm starting this campaign for treatment of my mother's rare eye disease called Polypoidal choroidal vasculopathy for which we are providing temporary treatment known as intravitreal (in-the-eye) injections of an anti-VEGF medication from around October 2017.

This monthly injections cost around $100 each. This was thought to cure her problem but after 1 year ( November 2018) doctor suggested better treatment called Photo Dynamic Treatment ( PDT ) $1200 and 3 intravitreal anti-VEGF injections of $400 each ( $1200 ). The total cost came to about $2500.

But until that time we had already spent around $1200 all of our family savings. Hence, we couldn't afford and we also didn't hot any loans from anyone. Hence we continued the $100 injections until we could do something.

My mother has received around 15 injections for this treatment into her eye directly which is very painful as I see her every month. I would request everyone who reads this campaign to give anything that is possible for you ( Even a few cents are valuable ).

All the money that I receive through this campaign will be given back with 15 to 20% of interest according to their contribution. Hence you can think of this as an Investment along with Charity.
