HELP MY MOTHER(EMELINDA AREJA) WITH HER FIGHT WITH CANCER

love my mother so much. She is Emelinda Areja. Mother of two, me and my sister Marie(Aizel). She is the strongest person I know. So it breaks my heart to see her weakened by cancer. It started when she had a check-up with an OB-Gyne in October 2017. She was experiencing unusual heavy menstruation. She was already menopause by the time. Her OB advised her to have a procedure to remove the excess mass causing the unusual bleeding. After the procedure, the mass taken from her uterus was undergone biopsy. The results were malignant of the aggressive type. The OB advised her to seek an Oncologist(doctor for cancer patients).

She did not go to an Oncologist as she thought that the cost of treating the malignant mass was too costly as it would be a hindrance in me finishing my Industrial Engineering course ( I was 4th year at the time). So with the remaining money that we got she opted for herbal medicine to cure her unusual bleeding. More than a year on the bleeding minimized. But recently this March 2019, she began experiencing swelling of her legs (pamamanas) and bloating of her abdomen.

After a week of tests, she was diagnosed with Endometrial Carcinoma with Ascites. This is suspected Stage 4 as she already has nodules in her lungs as indications her cancer is in advanced stage. She cannot stand on her own strength and she lose a lot of weight. A paracentesis was done to remove the 3.5 liters of fluid from her abdomen. After more than a week being discharged, the bloating of the abdomen and swelling of the legs returned.

We are in need of financial help to send our mother for palliative or supportive cancer care. Any amount you can donate to this campaign will be a big help. My mother has a fighting spirit.
