Help me, I’m a little stuck here

Hi! I'm Anna, and I have became paraplegic a couple of years ago. Unfortunately, my previous lifestyle was allowing me to take the stairs, therefore I have ended up in an apartment on the second floor, with no elevator. With the changed circumstances, i'd like to get a chance to live on the Ground floor, and be able to go out of the building on my own terms, with no, or little help needed. Please, if you can, help me achieve this goal.
