Help My Mom Get Hip Surgery

My name is Hollie and my mother's name is Paula. My mother has been working in the labor industry at a warehouse for about 38 years. She works at a woodworking factory, lifting and pushing heavy wooden doors all day long. Each day, she continues to pound the concrete pavement despite her hip pains worsening and risking further injury. Her doctor told her she would have to get hip replacement surgery to relieve the pain she feels. The healing period is reportedly a month. She is not able to afford to take off a month and still pay her bills. If my mom continues to work without getting surgery, she risks further injury and not being able to work at all. If she is not able to work at all, she'll be in an even worse financial situation.

Let me tell you about my mom. She has the work ethic of an ant. A don't quit-ever attitude. I don't think she's called in sick more than a handful of times over the past three decades. She is one of the most gracious people I have ever met. Despite what little money she has, she will give it to someone who needs it more. The bad thing about her is that she consistently puts herself last, always thinking of others first. There comes a time though when you need to take care of yourself and I'm willing to take her hand and guide her in doing this because she will not do it on her own. There are so many things I love about her and I know that you would love too if you don't already know her. 

I am desperate to get my mom the surgery she needs to relieve the intense pain she feels every day. It kills me to listen to her tell me how awful she feels after standing on concrete all day lifting heavy wood doors. It kills me to watch her limp around trying to do everyday activities.
