Campaign Story
Our dear friends, brothers and sister in Christ. My mother (Rosy "Arcelie" Meninguito, has a Breast Cancer according to her doctor who examined her wound lumps last year 2016. The doctor recommended her to have biopsy so that we can determine her cancer stage but we are not capable of paying all the fees. She is 60 years of age, my father is 63 years old and was disabled since he got involved in an accident at work 5 years ago. My brother had to leave his job to take care of my mother and I am the only one supporting her medications. We don't have our own house, we've been renting all our lives. I basically almost paying everything in our house. We came from an average family and we do not have anyone else to help support my mom's medical fees and needs. The tumor on her right breast has been aggressively growing and eating up her flesh. She needs to be treated soon according to her doctor but we only have limited source of income. The best option offered by her oncologist, Dr. Menguito, is to first have a biopsy to determine the stage. After that 8-10 cycles of chemotherapy, lumpectomy, and another 8-10 sessions after. Dr. Menguitorecommends that my mom gets her chemotheraphy first to get rid of the cancer cells that might be on the other parts of the body and to wait until the tumor decreases in size to take it out. Attached here are her photos in deep pain due to the wounds on her right breast.
Medications, Treatments and Operations Needed are as follows:
- P96,000 to P120,000 for her initial chemo treatment.
- P60,000 to P80,000 for her operation
- P96,000 for another 6-8 sessions of chemo after operation
- P30,000 to P50,000 for the other medicine to decrease the tumor.
All these come to a total of more or less P500,000. But unfortunately we don't even have that money for her to start even a single session of chemo. We pray that God will use you to help my mom live and survive breast cancer. We all love our mother for we only have one in this life we. Please help me save my mother.

Dear Jesus, You know Nanay Arcelie so much better than I do. You know her sickness and the burden she carries. You also know her heart. Lord, I ask you to be with my friend now as you work in her life. Lord, let Your will be done in Nanay Arcelie's life. If there is a sin that needs to be confessed and forgiven, please help her to see her need and confess. Lord, I pray for Nanay Arcelie just as Your Word tells me to pray, for healing. I believe You hear this earnest prayer from my heart and that it is powerful because of Your promise. I have faith in You, Lord, to heal Nanay Arcelie, but I also trust in the plan You have for her life. Lord, I trust and hold on Your promise on John 14:13-14 that You will do whatever we ask in Your name, so that the Father may be glorified in You. We are asking Nanay Arcelie's full healing In Your Mighty Name, Our Lord, Our God, Our Saviour Jesus Christ. Lord, I don't always understand Your ways. I don't know why she has to suffer, but I trust You. I ask that You look with mercy and grace toward my friend. Nourish her spirit and soul in this time of suffering and comfort her with Your presence. Let her know You are there with her through this difficulty. Give her strength. And may You, through this difficulty, be glorified in her life and also in mine. In Jesus Name, we pray. Amen.
