Help My Mama Overcome Breast Cancer

My mother, a 57-year-old homemaker, is diagnosed to have Stage4 Breast Cancer positive for her2neu.

I am her daughter and I am reaching out to you to please help us financially. Because of the economic crisis brought about by the covid19 pandemic, my father was laid off as an overseas filipino worker. My elder brother has been the only employed member of our family, with just enough income to get us through every day. We have ventured into small retail businesses, but with little to no income.

Aside from the financial burden brought about by the surgery, my mom needs to undergo chemotherapy. Since she had been positive with the her2neu receptors, she needed to be given a chemotherapeutic drug called Trastuzumab, which according to our oncologist would cost around 95,000 for each cycle. She would need to undergo 18 cycles—1 cycle every three weeks for 52 weeks; hence, a total of 1,700,000 pesos. The trastuzumab would be started simultaneously with the 5th cycle of her chemotherapy, that is by January 2021.

With less than 3 months left to prepare, I could not think of how to raise that huge amount of money in a short amount of time. Thus, I am desperately asking for your help. Any amount will do. I am not ready to give up on my mom who has been the reason why I kept going. Please help us.
