Help my mama beat cancer

Hi! I am Lara Ann K. Yulo and as only a few know, my dad and mama were never married. A year after they had me, they separated as a couple. I spent the early years of my life living with my grandma Sally. I only got to live with my dad after college. As for my mama, we used to see each other only once a year until I graduated High School however, she moved to China for work when i was 16.

Last November 7, 2018 I got to see my mama again after 11 long years. Unfortunately, our long awaited reunion was not a happy one as I found out that my mom had a lump on her left breast. When she went to the hospital to have it checked, the doctor informed her that she has stage 3 breast cancer. After further tests, the doctors also found out that the cancer has metastasized to her lungs and her liver also has spots already.

When I spoke to my mama, she told me that she has already accepted her fate. At first i got really mad at her because of course it broke my heart to hear that as I have always hoped for us to be able to spend time together, but eventually i realized that instead of getting mad at her i should instead shift my focus on how I can help her overcome her battle with cancer.

My mama did not ask me for any financial help. She told me that she only needed my love, support and prayers. However, I'm also aware that my mama does not have a lot of savings to cover the financial demands of her sickness. She would be undergoing chemo therapy by next week and on top of that, she will also need to continue undergoing tests and she will need to buy the necessary medicine.
