Help an injured fireman’s dream come true

Dear All,

My husband works as a fireman and he had a serious accident last year in December. He broke his left ankle in 3 different places after he accidentally has fallen 3 meters deep during work. He spent almost 6 months at home and the stitches after the 2nd surgery were just removed from his leg recently.

In October he is going to celebrate his birthday and I would like to make it unforgettable after he suffered a lot this year. :( His dream is to visit Scotland because he has a special addiction to history and he admires the beauty of the Scottish nature. I did a small research to plan his "dream trip" and it turned out that unfortunately the budget what I dedicated to this purpose is not sufficient.:(

BUT I decided not to give up and I tried to find a solution to close the gap in a creative way. I was searching on the Internet and I found this opportunity. My first thought was that maybe this is not the best idea because I know very well that other people need support for more reasonable purposes but finally I decided to give a try to make my husband's dream come true. :) All the contribution is more then welcome and very much appreciated!!! :)
