On May 6, 2020, my granddad, Emmanuel H. Vallejera, was confined in Bacolod Adventist Medical Center. Prior to this, he was also admitted at the same hospital last March 22, 2020, where he was first given the provisional diagnosis of namely: community-acquired pneumonia and chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD) in acute exacerbation. On May 6, 2020, he was given the same provisional diagnosis I just mentioned, but his pneumonia had now been classified as moderate risk. However, just seven days later, he was diagnosed with stage IV lung cancer.

He is now home surrounded by friends and family after spending seven days in the hospital. This was his wish. Thanks to the support of donors, friends, and family, his bills are almost paid and will be fully paid by tomorrow. He will continue his treatment at home, which is why we are still in need of financial help from donors who are still able to reach out.

Results released May 11, 2020: This is his highest WBC count yet, according to my dad.

Results released May 11, 2020:

Partial Pressure of Oxygen (PO2) also low, indicating hypoxia (low O2 in the tissues).

[UPDATE] June 6, 2020

This time, I regret to inform ya'll that my lolo had finally reunited with Our Beloved Creator on this day, June 6, 2020, around 1:00pm. It was a hard-fought battle for all of us, and we couldn't have fought it any better without your help in whatever way, and whatever amount was extended. The remaining unused funds will be used for lolo's wake.

Again, from the bottom of my heart, thank you and God bless to all those who have helped us push further in this ordeal.

As promised, here's the statement of account for granddad's expenses including laboratory and pharmacy services, room charges, etc. amounting to Php 71,374.97. That still doesn't include the fees of his three doctors though, which we expect to also be of great amount. I still don't have any information about it
