Help my friend to pay her university fees

Hi, everyone!

My name is Sevastina and I'm searching for support for my friend for paying the university fees for this school year.

A year ago my friend came from her country (out of EU) to study here in Sofia, Bulgaria and to stay for living and working here and for a better life with more possibilities than in her country. She finished the preparatory year, studying for 7-8 months Bulgarian language and now she's studying for the profession of her dreams.

Till one point everything was ok, but due to the corona virus situation, since March, the things went wrong and till some 10-15 days ago was still very bad, just going worst and worst for both of us...

Her family left without incoms and respectively without possibility to help her, she was just on the way to find a job, when the lock down happened and all the good possibilities closed. Now is even harder to find a job in general, even for the Bulgarians and having in mind that she still doesn't speak the language in a level to be able to work, you can imagine how much is limiting this in the searches. She speaks very good Italian and she has experience in a call center and she's applicatting in the call centers here, but the fact that she doesn't have a right to work full-time, because of the type of her visa, they are just not taking her with the reason that they need full-time workers. Before she comes here, I spoke in the restaurant in which I was working and they were open to take her when she will start speaking a little bit the language, but due to the corona virus they started to not have enough work and slowly the amount of people working there was decreased. They stopped paying in time and there's no any sense to start such a work.

We are sharing a flat and I'm helping as much as I can, but I'm too much limited in my possibilities.

The first semester is finishing and she still didn't pay it and it's coming the deadline for paying the second one. All these months we were with the hope that the situation will improve, but unfortunately it didn't happen and now it's staying this problem.

If she doesn't pay, she will lose her student's rights and she will have to leave the country (her visa and permission for staying are based on the fact that she is a student).

If this one happens, she will lose everything done till now and the worst is that it will be impossible to do it again to come back here and she will lose the chance for better life.

She needs a help to stay here until she "step on her legs".

I'm helping her and I will keep doing it, but not in the next 6-8 months, as I have my problems to solve.

We are now in a situation where she cannot pay the fees for this year with her own efforts and she needs support so that all the efforts and spent over 6000 euros so far, do not go to waste.

That's why I created this fundraising. To search help, so that she will not lose from her hands her dream and her chance for better life.

Please, help me to help her. The amount that she needs for both semesters is about 3500 Euros (there is a % punishment for a delay).

I know that the times are hard in a different way for everyone.

I don’t expect some big amounts of money - as much as you can donate without breaking your budget. 10, 15, 20, 25 euros ... You just need to have the good will to help.

All the raised money will be spent for paying the university's fees for 2020/21 academic year. If the fundraiser will collect some money in more, I will see to help someone else in a need.
