Help my Father beat colon cancer

This is the story of my father Stanislaw. He was an active person, retired miner, father, grandfather of two. All of the sudden the cancer diagnose has shocked him and our entire family.

I ask you to help him to beat this battle. We are raising funds for medicine called Lonsurf which is not refunded in our country. Any donation you could make will be greatly appreciated by us. Read more about his story below.

"My name is Stanislaw, I'm 69 years old. I live in Poland in Piekary Slaskie town. I'm a retired miner.

At the beginning of 2019 I came to surgical clinic with hemorrhoids. After the examination doctor said that I have tumor in my colon, most likely it was malignant tumor. I was referred for colonoscopy. The examination confirmed that it was a malignant tumor. It was a huge shock and disbelief for me and my whole family. I was also referred for tomography. It confirmed that there were metastasis on my liver and spleen. I came to oncology ward to began treatment.

First I was tested toward the possibility of immunotherapy treatment. Unfortunately there was KRAS gene found that excluded immunotherapy. Doctors decided to start chemotherapy. Every ten days I received series of 22 hours long infusions. After fifth chemo I got a stroke which caused aphasia and slight paresis of right side of the body. I thought I wouldn't recover from it but with the support of my family I've managed to stand on my feet again. I cannot see as before the surgery but my sight is notbefore but it significantly improved after surgery.

In August 2019, I underwent transient cerebral ischemia. Oncological treatment has still been delayed. I undergo further diagnostics and treatment of ischemic stroke and glaucoma.

I hope that soon I will be able to take further treatment with the non-refundable Lonsurf medicine and hyperthermia treatments. Unfortunately, I need funds for this. Medicines, appointments, and travel to appointments are very expensive, although the family helps it is not enough. After treatment, it is possible to perform thermoablation or NanoKnife ablation to remove tumors on the liver. NanoKnife is not refundable.

I would like to go fishing again one day, it has always been my hobby, now I am too weak to travel anywhere. I want to enjoy my family, wife Barbara, daughters Dominika, Agnieszka, and grandchildren Dominik and Weronika.

Despite so many diseases, I would like to win this fight with such an aggressive opponent as rectal cancer with liver and spleen metastases. I kindly ask you for your support. "
