Help My Father for Chemotherapy

I am praying for the some people who may be generous enough to share some portion of their financial blessings to help us on the treatment of my father’s on-going fight with cancer. My father was diagnosed with lung cancer just last April 6, 2019. He had already undergone the 1st of the many chemotherapy sessions.

The family had to make a number of loans to pay for the hospital fees, medicines, and treatments. By God’s grace, he is doing good with the treatment. We are letting him take some natural supplements - extracts from guyabano leaves, mashed malunggay, etc. My family are doing our best to gather various herbs which we think, would be of significant help on further strengthening my father's condition.

We are struggling to meet both ends considering the lengthy treatment. We are grateful to the Lord Jesus for His continuous help through various people whom he touched to help us. I am the eldest of six (6) siblings. We are doing good in terms of meeting the basic needs yet, my father's condition is now a challenge for all of us.

I do not understand why my father has the disease. I am thinking, he may had get it from the years of being exposed to chemicals - my father used to do mango cultivation during his younger years. I and my younger brother used to help him on spraying various pesticides manually since, the same had been the family's source of income for quite some time. I think, the exposure may had been the biggest contributor to my father's degrading health.

The sickness of my father had further strengthen the bond that we already have. I had been very emotional especially during the few days when the family learned of my father's condition. However, my mother encouraged me not to lose hope and pray continuously for my father's recovery. I have to be very strong; projecting the same condition to my other siblings.
