Help my father

Hello

My name is Alex, I've been a policeman for almost 4 years in Bucharest and after a regular night shift today I got a phone call from my mother who gave me devastating news, my father was diagnosed with cirrhosis and only liver transplant can save him.

The cirrhosis was discovered 5 months ago, but my family had been hiding it from me, until today.

The thought that I may lose my father simply turned my life upside down, I had no sleep after the phone call and did nothing but call friends and collegues to ask for help, he is an amazing person, caring and loving father and husband who always suported me and my brother to achieve our dreams.

The surgery can cost anywhere from 40.000 to 60.000€ and nor my family or I have the required money to cover the costs of the surgery.

After adding everything up, with the savings I've been making, a bank loan and my parent's savings, I figgured that we still need anywhere from 10.000-30.000€ to get the surgery done.

I'm writing this text on my way to my workplace for another night on the streets with tears in my eyes because I can't be near my family for easter holidays due to the fact that my parents live in the city that I was born in that takes 5-6 hours to get to by driving a car.
