Help my family get into a home

My name is Shannon in 2011 my husband, daughter and I were living in Rhode Island.  Unfortunately the company my husband worked for, Alpha Plating, closed down because of over sea outsourcing.  I was working but was not making enough money to keep a roof over our heads.  We quickly got into a bad situation and had to leave Rhode Island to find more opportunities for work.  Our only option was to move in with one of my family members down in Texas.   We both found work and were even able to get into an apartment after a year.  However things got bad quickly.  We realized that the apartment we are in is infested with roaches.  What little furniture we were able to buy we had to throw out.  We can't use our kitchen at all and what little food we do keep in the apartment has to be very carefully stored.  To top it all off, I was bitten by a brown recluse spider at work and had to go into the hospital.  Due to the time I had to take off I lost my job.   I have now been out of work since November of 2012.  However I will be starting at Gandar Mountain when they open nearby at the end of August.  My husband does have a great job and makes enough to support us but it leaves nothing for savings.  

My husband and I are desperate to get into a home so we can raise our 4 year old daughter in a safe and healthy environment.   While living here we have all developed severe allergies, breathing problems, and have had stomach bugs.  We feel like this is coming from the roaches despite how much we clean.  

What we are askig for is help with raising money for a down payment on a house/manufactured home. We have been working with a company that has helped us get our credit scores up.  We have a builder that we are working with as well.  If you can help us in any way we would appreciate it.  I can't offer any rewards but I can update people with pictures.  I promise that we are a hard working family.  We don't drink, do drugs, or go on shopping sprees, we just hit some bumps in the road.  Thanks.
