HELP MY FAMILY

.I am David Chelladurai and I work as a Rapido bike/taxi driver in Chennai. I am jobless and without any source of income for the last 4 months. The lockdown has left me and my family in a financial ruin.

My daughter Sarah just got promoted to the 11th standard after her board exams got cancelled. My wife Pauline is a home maker. I also had a son, who is not in this world any more. It was 2016 and he was only 15 years old, when we lost him to a shocking and horrific accident with a police van. We were broken and devastated at what had happened. Pauline still grieves and mourns the loss of our loving son. The last few years have been very difficult for us. I lost my job at Tamil news media (TV industry) in December 2019, and have been working for Rapido ever since. I earned up to Rs.600 daily and somehow managed to provide for my family. The Covid-19 pandemic added to our financial problems. Our situation worsened when I contracted the virus and had to be admitted to a hospital for 11 days. I tested negative on June 13 and have been discharged now. I have to be in home quarantine for the next few days and we have no money left with us for even our house rent or for food. We are struggling financially and badly need your help. I have started this fundraiser campaign to seek help from all of you. My family means the world to me.
