Help my family

Hi. I am in need of your help. I gave birth to a beautiful baby boy in March. The father of my son is a drug addict in recovery- something unbeknownst to me until later. I had dated him for 2.5 years and stood by him during his relapses, lying, physical and mental abuse and cheating. I thought I could save him and that’s why I stayed as long as I did. We broke up and he moved out of state about a week before I found out I was pregnant. I thought I was doing the right thing by telling him I was pregnant. Throughout the pregnancy he left me threats and harassing emails and voicemails. We have both hired lawyers and have been in an ongoing custody battle since March of 2018. I continue to use legal counsel because he Is making irrational requests, and doesn’t understand what an infant needs at such a young age. I have given time sharing- more than what he has requested and yet that is still not enough. I am scared that he will relapse while he is with my son and that’s why I want to make sure my son is protected. That being said, I need counsel to make sure the right precautions are put in place. The father and I have agreed to a temporary order which was only in place for a month before he broke it. I’m not receiving child support and have had to cover medical costs related to his birth, and buy all things for my son and provide for him on my own. Because my ex keeps breaking the order I have incurred substantial lawyers fees- ones that I can no longer pay. I’m a single mom trying to support myself , my two dogs, my house and my son with no help. I can no longer support all of this on my own, whilst paying attorney fees. My two dogs are in dire need of medical treatment and I can’t bring them to the vet because I no longer have the money to do so. I have repairs that need to be done around the house but am unable to do so. These are only a couple of things that I can no longer afford due to the lawyer fees. This is now like a viscious cycle- my ex breaks the order and I incur fees trying to enforce the order. Meanwhile the father has only paid child support one month out of the 8 months of my sons life. I’m barely staying afloat and I see no end to this. As we speak another motion was entered to call for an emergency hearing as well as for child support. Please, if anyone has been through this you know how hard this is not only financially but also emotionally.
