Marinelle Pagkaliwangan Guillan, is a 10 year old brave, strong, prayerful and a very positive girl despite of her condition now. She was diagnosed last March of this year as suffering from Osteosarcoma, the most common histological form of primary bonecancer.
She was a normal child and an above-average student until she tripped while running inside the school auditorium last January 17, 2014 and suffered a fracture of her right femur. Originally diagnosed as a simple fracture, swelling of the fractured area followed after the cast was removed and a subsequent MRI test and surgical biopsy confirmed her current medical condition. She has undergone eight (8) chemotherapy sessions and surgery last June 2014. Sadly, she is unable to walk and the only hope for her to walk again is to have permanent endoprosthesis that will cost over a million pesos. This is no ordinary implant, hence, it takes time to manufacture.
She is scheduled for an implant operation when funds for her endoprosthesis leg is available. Marinelle needs your help so she can stand and walk again, live as a normal kid. She always tells that nothing is impossible with God, just wait, be patient, keep on believing and her prayers will be answered.
Marinelle is a child who wants to live like a normal life by being able to walk again. Please help her fulfill her dreams.
