My dad, Thomas Burgess, needs help.
We moved to the Philippines from Massachusetts in 2011.
We now live in Olongapo City, Zambales.
He had a tumor in his bladder that was taken out last Thursday, it is thankfully benign.
But there are complications, his kidneys are failing, there is renal failure, and high creatinine levels.
We have at the hospital for 15 days and we can't pay the hospital and doctor fees.
We have insurance but we must pay first before we get the reimbursement which is about 70 to 80 percent of the total cost.
The bill is about $6000 and he has to have a neck exploration to insert a catheter so he could have temporary dialysis. The cost is $2000.
We need any help we can get.
