40424846_1562340432310172_r.jpegHi! First, I wanna thank you for having the time to check our story. I don't usually do this online campaign or asking donations from people but I was left with no choice. I need help, my family needs your help, MY DAD NEEDS YOUR HELP.

My dad's name is Eliezer, he just turned 61 last May 3rd. His ailment started way back December of 2018. One night, he complained of cough and can't sleep due to phlegm he cannot cough out. We rushed him to the emergency room in the middle of the night to ease his complaints. The doctor gave him some medicines. We went home but still my dad could not sleep. Morning came and he started complaining about the cough again and somehow he had difficulty of breathing. We rushed him again to the emergency room for a follow up check up and then he complained of having a chest pain. The emergency doctor ordered to run a test to check his heart, the result came after some time and had a positive TROPONIN I result -- an indication that a person underwent a heart attack. So my dad was confined in the hospital starting then. The doctor recommended to have my dad transferred to the ICU for close monitoring but most of the ICUs in the hospitals around my city were full. We had no choice but to stay in the general ward.

One day, my dad collapsed in the hospital, so, we decided to transfer him to a bigger hospital. Little did we know that the biggest hospital in my city had the worst scenario. We had the worst experience, my dad had the worst experience of being put in a room full of different people with different medical cases. Long story short, we discharged my dad before Christmas.

January 17, 2019, my dad had a stroke. A massive one. Good thing it was not hemorrhagic. We rushed him to the hospital and stayed in the ICU for more than 20 days. It took my dad 17 days before he can open his eyes. We stayed in the hospital for more than a month. Within that time, my dad developed pneumonia due to long term ventilator use. He had difficulty coughing out phlegm so the doctors decided to do tracheotomy so it's easier to suck the phlegm and so not to induce more pain when suctioning through his mouth. We were discharged March 2, 2019. The hospital bill was humongous. It reached $14,300. We discharged my dad with a remaining hospital bill balance at around $5000 needed to be paid before August of this year ends.

His doctors recommended a physical therapy sessions because my dad's left arm and leg were paralyzed. It costs much to have a continues therapy. He has several medicines to maintain both for his heart and post stroke seizures. Also, we were advised to change his tracheostomy tube every month but so far, we only had it changed once. The tube itself is way expensive for us. Lastly, he needs to undergo coronary angiogram to check his blood vessels and a possible angioplasty or cardiac bypass. That is another over the roof expense for us.

The funds will support my dad's medical treatment.
- consistent physical therapy sessions
- monthly change of tracheostomy tube
- medicines
- coronary angiogram
- possible angioplasty or cardiac bypass

Thank you so much for your help. God knows how thankful I am to you who gives generously. May God give you more blessings, a thousand folds than what you have donated.
