Help my boyfriend heal and recover from addiction

My boyfriend is turning 29 and he has been battling addiction since he was 15. He is a chronic meth user and it has gotten to a point where he is showing psychotic features. He was clean for about 2 years but sadly finding out that he was HIV+ triggered him to start using again. He wants to get clean but he doesn't have a job, nor is he able to afford his ARVs and I'm petrified that he gets ill while his immune system is compromised. I strongly believe that his drug use stems from childhood trauma and being raised by borderline narcissistic parents. I called his mom to ask if she will help him get treatment and she said no, "he already wasted my money".

He is really not the typical addict: he doesn't steal, he hasn't been violent, he just has a very very low self-esteem and he is in emotional pain. It hurts me to see him this way. He wants to get clean "on his own" but I don't know if it will be possible given his medical needs and I'd like for him to be monitored, especially during withdrawals.

Any contributions would be appreciated, even if I can make enough for a detox stay I'd be relieved. This is the man of my dreams and he has so much potential, I fear that irreversible damage is done to his brain if he does not get help soon.
