Campaign Story
We weren’t expecting this to happen.
This is our baby, Emilia Jiel, born Jan15, 2022. I would never forget the happiness we felt when we learned that we were pregnant on 2nd try. Last Nov2017, we had a miscarriage which brought mixed feelings of getting pregnant again. We were scared that our new baby may die, too. At 32 weeks pregnancy, we felt safer that we would make it to full term. But suddenly, the amniotic sac broke, and our baby had to be delivered thru emergency CS procedure.
After delivery, our little angel has to stay at the hospital NICU with CPAP. CPAP is used to deliver constant air pressure to our little Emilia’s nose. Daily NICU expenses costs 30,000-40,000, and our baby needs to stay there for 5 weeks. We never expected something untoward would happen. Because our Emilia is not physically ready to leave the womb, she was diagnosed with health problems such as blood infection, underdeveloped lungs, Congenital Adrenal Hyperplasia, and they are also considering Down Syndrome. We are again afraid that our little angel will not make it. The pain of losing again another child is unbearable. But when we visited her at the NICU, we realized that we were given another chance to have a child, and we need to continue to fight for her!
Please HELP US as we fight to provide specialized care for our premature baby. From the bottom of our hearts we are humbly asking for your financial help (any amount will help) and that you share this link with friends and family.
Thank you in advance for your support. God bless each and everyone of you.
