Help My Aunt Resume Breast Cancer 3A Treatment

Hi. This is my aunt and she was diagnosed with Breast Cancer Stage 2 over a year ago. She had undergone a mastectomy for further analysis of the tissues and it was discovered that the cancer has spread to her lymph nodes as well. Now, her cancer has progressed to Invasive Breast Cancer Stage 3A.

My aunt is single, with no children and lives alone in a small home near the train railways in Sta. Mesa, Manila. She used to earn money for her day to day living by reselling handmade soap but since she we diagnosed with cancer, she had no time for keeping up her small business since she was either too weak to do anything or because she is away lining up at different government offices just to see all the financial help she could get from agencies.

She has her treatment sessions done at the Philippine General Hospital and despite being a public hospital, the cost of treatment is really high. Apart from that, she lines up at 4:00 AM in the morning and waits the whole day for her turn in chemotherapy.

So far, she has gone through some treatment with the help of some saved funds and a little help from friends and families who bring food to eat. But now, all of the funds she saved all her life have run out and she had to stop the treatment. She even had to sell some of her medicine for cancer treatment just so she can get by for a few days just for food.

With that, she has STOPPED TREATMENT for now.

Ever since she has stopped, she had several skin lesions and boils from head to toe and she needs to undergo operation for her boils because they were too big and plenty and they are compromising her immune system. Right now, she needs to be URGENTLY operated on for her skin lesions and boils on her head and her abdomen.

Apart from that, she still needs 10 shots of Filgrastin at Php4,500 each.

Chemotherapy is at Php45,000 each session.

And she still needs to being radiation treatment which is about Php300,000.

And some funding to start a business so she can have a source of income.

Beyond that, she still needs treatment and medicine for maintenance.
