Help my 72 yr old mother to sustain her Epoetin Beta (Recormon) Injection

Hi and good day! My name is Juan Paolo M. Corvera from Philippines. The only son of my 72 yrs old single mother Josefina De leon Mijares, a husband and a father to 2 boys(5yrs old and 4 yrs old) and 1 girl (7months old).

Last June of 2018, my mother was hospitalized and was diagnosed of CKD or Chronic Kidney Disease going to End Stage Renal Disease. By this, a Dialysis treatment and blood transfusion was needed in order for my mother to survive and to continue her life. She was instructed to undergo dialysis treatment twice (2x) a week with two (2) dose of Epoetin Beta (Recormon) (is to control red blood cell production by regulating the bone marrow) injection every after dialysis treatment to help her kidney to produce red blood cells, since she we was losing blood every dialysis treatment. Her Blood type is B negative which is a rare and hard to find blood type. In the past I have gain donors and found her blood type by continious searching, but unfortunately, her blood count went down again because we cant commit the injection every after dialysis due to lack of funds.

Undergoing dialysis treatment is lifetime according to the doctor and no permanent healing unless having kidney transplant to permanently treat the patient. All my savings are already depleted before the end of 2018 just to support the treatment and all the medicines of my mother. Sometimes I struggle to pay for her treatment due to lack of money to pay and sometimes she skips her full treatment. I already seek help from PCSO an organization owned by the Philippine government and granted some financial aid to support the Epoetin Beta (Recormon) injection. Each injection is Php. 700 and two (2) dose is required every after treatment and Dialysis treatment is Php. 350 (Philhealth already applied. Normal price is Php. 2,300). Roughly I am paying Php. 1,750 every dialysis treatment, Php. 3,500 per week, Php. 15, 750 per month.

Right now, my current salary cannot support enough the treatment and medicine maintenance of my mother because of the multiple loans (company and outside loans) that I am enrolled. 60% of my income goes directly to pay the loans which I also use for the dialysis treatment, injection and maintenance medicines. I also need to provide for our basic necessity needs like our everyday food, utility bills (water, electricity and rent), diaper and milk of my 7 months daughter. While my wife is in charge to provide all the needs (foods, cloths, school needs) of our two (2) sons.

I am raising funds, not for me but for my mother’s continuous treatment and to support most especially her two (2) dose of Epoetin Beta (Recormon) injection (Php. 1,400). Any help greatly appreciates and will help to prolong my mother’s life.
