Murphy’s leg surgery

Hi my name is Karen.

A week ago our Doberman got loose on a walk and went missing. After almost a week of searching, flyers, more phone calls then can be counted and hundreds of messages and shares on social media our boy was found.

He was hit by a car and somehow survived on his own for a week during. When we finally got him we immediately realized his leg was injured and took him directly to our local vet. His front leg is broken above his elbow. As well as this he had air pockets on both sides of his lungs from the impact.

His lungs have been tapped and he’s been stabilized.

Murphy is home now he had to have two surgeries to repair his leg

He had three bone grafts and Dr Michelle Gibbs and her team put in two metal plates

He will be going back in two weeks to have his stitches removed and will need physical therapy and strict rest for at least 3 months.

I’m humbly asking for support to help get him back on his feet again and out of pain.

His surgery is going to be expensive but I’m not going to let him down

I promised him I would never let him feel scared hungry or in pain ever again

I only wish whoever is reading this could know him in person because you would love him as much as we do.

Anything helps even the cost of a cup of coffee

I believe that just him being here in my living room is a miracle because god answered my prayers and those of so many countless others. Thank you to everyone who called, shared , prayed, went out looking for this sweet boy and sent words of encouragement
