Help Mum Minjung against stage IV Pancreatic Cancer

We are a Singapore-Taiwan family. Our mother is the pillar of the family and is truly very sacrificial - we have not really seen her living for herself but always for others.

However, the unthinkable happened in November 2017: during one of the times that our mother came back home from Malaysia, where she was doing mission work, she was not feeling well. She started getting jaundice and after going to the hospital was diagnosed with stage IV pancreatic cancer. This definitely came as a shock to all of us.

No surgery could be done then and doctors gave little hope regarding Chemotherapy.

Our family decided not to go for chemotherapy and focus on finding alternative treatment instead. We have researched on a lot of natural therapies and found success cases with pancreatic cancer. However not all treatments are available to us easily in terms of distance and finance.

We have tried to do all we can to improve our mother's situation at home, however, our mother just kept getting worse. She started having excruciating pain almost 24 hours a day.

We finally gathered all our family resources to send her to Korea for spiritual healing and also to stay in a hospital so that doctors can monitor her situation constantly. They are also trying out new alternative treatments. However, we just found out recently that the cancer has also spread to the bones.

Our mother needs 24 hours care now as she cannot sleep at night due to discomfort and pain.

Our family would like to do whatever we can do help our mother be as comfortable as possible and improve her quality of life. We have already spent a lot on her hospital bills, as well as a special flight to Korea and have almost exhausted our finances.

It really pains us so deeply that she has to go through this. There is so much we want to do for our parents, having a family of our own and allowing them to enjoy the love of grandchildren. Her recovery would be a miracle, but we are hoping for one.

So we sincerely hope for all brothers and sisters out there to be able to contribute any amount you can.

We hope that our mother's recovery would be the greatest testimony and that our family will be able to help others in the future as well.
