Help Mrs. Ba to have a brighter future.

Her name at home is Ba (in Vietnamese, it’s mean “Third”) as she’s the second child in her family in HCM City. Ho Chi Minh City is a very interesting country but some parts of citizens have difficult lives here.

She’s as my Mom age – 60 yrs old this year. Now, she’s taking care of my kid for living expense, that’s why I know her case. She has 10 siblings (6 sisters, 4 brothers). All of her 5 sisters lived with their husbands and kids and they have houses. Mrs Ba is living with her Mom (about 80 years old but in good health) , her son (17 yrs old), her niece and her niece’s family (a husband and two kids) in a house of 50 meter square . This house is in a very small alleyway belongs to her Mom.

My Mom knew Mrs Ba when they are both very young. My Mom said Mrs Ba had taken care of all of her younger siblings. She got divorced when she was very young and she had a son. Her older brother wife passed away when giving birth to her second child and Mrs. Ba was taking care of her niece as her daughter and right now, she’s also taking care of her niece’s kids as a grandmother. Two of her brothers passed away in their young ages and Mrs. Ba was the one who took after them during their sickness. During the time lived in the house, Mrs. Ba spent her money for renovation and she’s also the one who is taking care of family meals from her low income and small contribution of her niece.

She’s kind hearted that’s why I choose her to be my nanny.

Now, 5 of her sisters gathered and asked her Mom to sell the house and share the Money to all. Her Mom will keep half and half will be divided into 8 small parts. Her Mom supported the idea as she listened to her 5 daughters’ whisper on how she can spend the money afterwards. They even called the police to make pressure to Mrs. Ba. The brothers are still nice to her and they would like to protect her but they are poor.

Mrs. Ba is now crying and she’s so sad for her whole life and her future life with her son. Her son did not go to school so now he’s only earning USD4-5/ day and work is not stable but he’s a nice kid.

She needs the money to prepare for her future life. With the small share from her Mom, Mrs. Ba still needs more to buy a small house far way or rent a small room in my district and for her monthly expense. From this campaign, I hope I can raise a fund for her to make her life better.
