Help Mommy Lyn beat cancer

Last November 18, 2022, we received the most heart breaking news that my mother “Evangeline Manaloto Balingit” is diagnosed Stage 2 Cervical Cancer. This news continues to break our hearts to this day, especially the fact that our mom is already 65 years old and went on a surgery for right kidney not functioning anymore last April 2015 and now a “Crucial thing” needing to undergo chemo therapy and radiation treatment. For this, we need to be really extra careful and make sure to look after her.

Thankfully, we were able to catch the cancer at an early stage. What’s more beautiful is, our mom has managed to keep such a strong fighting spirit and strong faith to God despite all the challenges she is facing right now.

As you can imagine, given that my mom has only one remaining kidney and is now needing to face new challenges that needs to undergo Chemo therapy and radiation treatment. It has been stressful knowing how much money we need at least for all the procedures needed. But if anything, we are still grateful that as per doctor’s advise, our mom can still manage complete recovery for as long as we won’t be missing any of the treatments that she needs to complete. And we strongly believe that she will overcome this. We are a hundred percent hoping that our mom is able survive. For this to happen, our mom needs to complete all the chemo therapy and radiation sessions which unfortunately will cost up to Five Hundred thousand pesos (₱500,000).

Our family has been doing it’s very best to fund our mom’s treatment. But it goes without saying, this battle with cancer despite the added challenge of our mom being unemployed senior citizen with only one kidney left. This is a very huge financial challenge to our family.

For this reason, our family would like to seek the help of our friends, relatives, and other willing individuals who’s able to help us. We are knocking on your kind hearts and ask you all to help our family and our mom to fight this cancer. Your contribution, big or small, would definitely go a long way in giving our mother a fighting chance to live. She still has many reasons to live long years. Please help us give her the strong chances to beat this fight!
