My family and I live in a building on a sixth floor in a tiny apartment with our 3 dogs and our bird.

On May 17th we got a call from a friend asking us if we would like to temporarily adopt a dog until new owners were found. The dog was a rough collie found abandoned next to a road. Willing to help we agreed to take her in. She was filthy, covered in ticks and overall in a bad shape. Due to her appearance we concluded she must be around 9 years old. Despite her looks she soon proved herself to be one of the most gentle dogs we have ever met. We named her Mila meaning dear or kind.

After a couple of days we noticed something was wrong with her. She had trouble breathing and would cough and sneeze a lot. We figured it must be a cold or something, but the vet gave us a devastating diagnosis. Mila has a nose tumor. More specifically, a nasal chondrosarcoma, meaning the cancer is destroying a cartilage in her nose. She was given 3 to 6 month to live. Before the diagnosis there were potentials adopters for Mila, but when we told them she was sick they walked out on her. Nobody wants a sick dog with only a couple of months to live. So Mila stayed with us. We now have for dogs in a tiny apartment and one of them is seriously ill.

Our only option was chemotherapy, but vets told us the treatment would only give her a couple more months and the side effects are horrible. Plus, we just couldn't afford it. We decided to give her the happiest, most comfortable life possible until the very end. Since we could do more for her, we decided to try alternative treatment.

Since June 1th she is on a special diet based on a raw meat and vegetables. We also give her supplements. This the list of everything she gets:

Graviola 3x a day

CBD oil 1x a day

Sweet wormwood oil 2x a day

Fish oil 1x a day

Olive oil 1x a day

Coconut oil 1x a day

Fennel oil 1x a day

Turmeric

Iron 1x a day

Ionized silver

Vegetables, raw meat and fish

She has four to five long walks every day. Our other dogs accepted her and she is now part of the pack. It's been six months already and she is getting stronger each day. She is much better, both physically and mentally. Sneezing and coughing has almost completely vanished. She almost always has a runny nose, but her condition doesn't seem to be getting worse. Vets are amazed by her. We was supposed to be dead already, but she is a fighter and we are fighting alongside her.

Mila is loved and well taken care of. She has come a long way from a frightened, depressed dog she was when we first met her. Now she is running around barking and playing. She has become a local legend. Everybody knows about her. She is one of the greatest dogs we have ever had the privilege of knowing.

We only have some trouble with financing Milas treatment, so we are asking for your help.
