Help Mike Pilar’s brother with his medical expenses

In 2019, Mike’s brother Malvin was told that he had End Stage Renal Disease - Stage 5 Chronic Kidney Disease. He was told he’d have maybe 1-5 years to live, but with the right care and medication he may have the chance for another 5 years. Since then, he has been on dialysis and working hard to support his family, but earlier this month there was a complication and Malvin developed pneumonia.

During this most recent hospital stay he has amassed over SG$11,000 in medical fees that Mike, Malvin, or their families, simply cannot afford.

Mike has been doing his best to help his brother provide for his family but during the pandemic, lost his employment and has slowly run out of savings.

Mike made a very brave decision, and reached out to his friends, asking for financial support. As brave as that action was, he received very little support, I suspect from fear that such an act was a scam.

To provide greater support, I wanted to put the word out there to our extended friends and family, that Mike and Malvin need our help. I am hopeful that we, together, can raise the funds to cover the medical fee and help remove the stress on Mike, Malvin and their families.
