Campaign Story
At 17 years old, Mike was diagnosed with a very rare form of bone cancer in his tibia called osteosarcoma. After going through 3 months of chemo, Mike learnt that he'd face an above knee amputation due to the tumour spreading to this knee. Being a keen sportsman playing cricket for his Cricket Club, and helping out with coaching, Mike is eager to get back on the field and in order to do this, we need to raise enough money to get Mike a leg with a microprocessor in the knee, which will enable him to play sport again.
