Help Miguel Fight Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia

It was the last month of the year 2019 December the month joy when we found out that our dear 7 year old boy Miguel has cancer. Miguel was brought to the hospital to have a minor operation. He had several lymph nodes in different parts of his body. He was first diagnosed with thyroglossal duct cyst. However, the doctors had requested to get more tests and examinations to check further on his condition.



When Miguel had a bone marrow test that is when the doctors found out the he was positive for T-cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukaemia (High Risk). I was working in Singapore when I found out about the news. I couldn’t believe what was happening. My family and I broke down however we had to remain strong for Miguel. I immediately booked a flight back to the Philippines.



When I arrived in the Philippines, my heart sunk. I saw my son Miguel but he looked different. He was very thin, his stomach was bloated, and he looked tired and lost. I hugged him tight and joked around him. He smiled and then I realised that we can do this! I told him “Miguel you will get better, Daddy will make sure you get better”. And I believe he will get better!



Miguel has already started his chemotherapy. He’s been in and out of the hospital. He’s a strong boy and he’s fighting! However, Miguel needs your help.



I am currently back in Singapore to work so that I can earn and pay for Miguel’s chemo however the bills have been piling up. We have decided to take our chances here in gogetfunding to ask for help or any assistance for Miguel’s hospital bills. I would do ABSOLUTELY anything and everything to save my child and give him a chance to live his life. I am pleading for your help and I assure you that it will go a long way.
