Help migrant workers stranded in Romania

The covid-19 pandemic has wreaked widespread chaos across the economy and many thousands have been laid off. In this group of people are migrant workers who have been fired from their positions and been asked to vacate their living premises within days.

Most of them earned very little to begin with and losing their jobs meant that they end up with no place to stay. Almost all of them have been forgotten by their governments and unless we do something about it, will end up on the streets with no place to sleep.

Many of them want to find other work so giving them a place to stay while searching for employment is critical.

I have been personally supporting some of them but I cannot cope with the requests.

The funds raised will initially help workers from Sri Lanka to whom I am connected with find a place to stay and food to eat. Depending on the funds raised, I will expand support to other nationalities also.
