Help Mheira continue her Research Study

Hello everyone :) this is my first time creating a campaign for fund-raising and at this moment, I would like to express my utmost thanksgiving in advance to all the kind-hearted people who would help me reach for my dreams. Btw, I am from the Philippines 🇵🇭:)

Since high school, I've been actively participating in science research development and I was very blessed to have been graced with the Best Thesis Award in college. This study is so much important to me since i've devoted my time and sacrificed my passion to finish it. Now, my thesis adviser is very eager and supportive in continuing the study that she even submitted it to the Asian Chemical Congress which will be held in Australia this year for oral presentation. Thankfully, it was accepted :) The study is about developing anesthesia from a locally-avaliable plant in my country. Anesthesia is quite expensive at a certain extent and experts admit that it is starting to have a shortage of supply of anesthesia since there's only limited supplier of this substance in the world. With this study in the process, the researcher aims to successfully produce a much cheaper anesthesia but will have good results as the commercially available ones. I can really feel the urgency to find an alternative source for this.

My professor asked me to join her in Australia to so that we can present it together, since she is a professor in our university, all her expenses for the trip will be subsidized by the university. However, the sad part is that, I cannot be funded by my alma matter since i've already graduated from the university. The registration fee and all other expenses for the trip is quite expensive that I couldn't afford to produce.It breaks my heart to pieces knowing the fact that I couldn't present my own thesis in that momentous event and to add i couldn't even continue the study due to financial difficulties. The Philippines is a third-world country and the government doesn't support Research Development as much as the other countries do. Aside from that, the cost of graduate studies in my country is very expensive and it is extremely difficult to get scholarship grants for aspiring scientists like me. when this study finally materialize, the Philippines will not only benefit but even many countries in the world.

Please help pursue my graduate studies for this reseach project and be able to join in Australia for the presentation of the study to many scientists :
