Campaign Story
Let's Help Metos and her Family!!
This fundraiser is to help Metos Manansala and her family living in Gingoog City, Gingoog, Philippines. She is currently studying at Tesda, a training school, but needs help financially to be able to afford to help feed and support her family including her three year old son, Ivan. She sadly loss her father three years ago, and is struggling to afford to help feed her son and herself while trying to afford her studies so she can ensure a stable life and good future for her son.
I have been talking to Metos for a while now, and have been inspired by her courage to connect with strangers to seek any help and support she can recieve. I believe that we all can make a difference and set up this fundraiser in hopes to change Meto's future for the better.
Goals
UPDATE 2017:
Metos and her Family have been severely hurt by the flooding and they have lost all of their belongings. This fundraiser will be used to assist her efforts to rebuild their lives. Thank you <3
Meto's plan is " Im studying at tesda ,school, its a training, center, abd i need help, for ny needs, in my studies such as school fees, and other needs, in school, i do this for my son, to find a better job, and a stable one, and for my family too, , "
Meto's first obstacle is she needs 4,000 php ($82 US) to pay for the exam fee so she can complete her study. I asked Meto's what she hopes to acheive with the money raised and she said, " If im giving a chance, I want to builed, business, like sari-sari store, its like a grociries."
