Help Me With My Weight Loss Journey! :)

Hi GoGetFunding,

I'm hoping to raise money for "cosmetic" surgery for my body. The reason I put "cosmetic" in parentheses is because cosmetic is defined as changing one's outward appearance, which I am doing but it's much deeper than that.

I have struggled with weight for my entire life. I've been bullied, I've been looked at sideways, I've been laughed at and mocked by family members who told me to "just lose the weight"... if it were that simple for me, I truly would have.

Everyone's body is different, I worked out, I dieted (I've even done some unhealthy diets to try and help), and I would lose a couple of pounds here and there.

The above photo is some of the repercussions of me trying certain diets in order to lose weight, I still have the scars today. I've tried very hard these past few years to lose weight, and if you can help me with these medical expense which to me and my well being and health are very urgent, I'll thank you with all my heart and pray for you.

I finally, after spending almost 2 years losing weight, have come to a weight where an amazing and kind plastic surgeon is willing to operate on me. He will give me a full body lift, which will not only help me to continue on my weight loss journey, but will help my body to reflect the pounds that I have lost.

My insurance will not cover this because this is considered "cosmetic" surgery, which it is, but it's also something for my health and well being.

I'm very lucky and blessed that even at my heaviest (350 lbs), I didn't get diabetes. I'm blessed to have lost so many pounds (152). I'm also blessed to have found someone who can aid me in my continuous weight loss journey.

Even if you're unable to donate, some helpful words of encouragement are very much appreciated. I'll thank you all the same.
