Help Me with My Fight

I've been dealing with my heart condition for about 9 years now (after having my firstborn) but haven't had any surgery since. It's because had to help make a living for our family that having a surgery to repair my valves became the last thing on my bucket list.

Now, years after, I could no longer hold that surgery off. It's surgery or nothing for me. :(

I'm here right now at the Philippine Heart Center, being prepared for my surgery (mitral and aortic valve replacement, tricuspid valve repair). The cost of it is something that we haven't had the chance to prepare for. Not to mention our other hospital expenses - meds, labs, diagnostics, etc.

Furthermore, since neither my husband nor I could work at the moment (he's taking care of me), we're finding it hard to support the household - our kids. This is the main reason why we're knocking on your kind hearts for some financial assistance in this difficult time.

Believe me, I'm quite hesitant to ask anyone for this kind of help. But we are really in dire need of any amount of support for me and my children while I'm here waiting for what the future holds. So, I hope you understand why I had to start this fundraiser. I am a heart failure patient, but first and foremost, I am a mother.
