Campaign Story
Hi, Everyone.
This is Troy Velez - I am re-opening this campaign again as I seek for further financial assistance.
I will undergo another surgical operation (Laminectomy) next week, this time, on my spine. A mass nodule that causes the numbness of my both legs and which also made me unable to walk must be removed from my spine. This surgery will have an estimated total cost of around Php250,000 (USD5,000). In order to help with the medicines and other medical-related bills and expenses. I, together with my family, would like to seek your help with my medical and related expenses as I continue to battle for my illness. I will be operated on on the first week of March 2017 at Philippine General Hospital.
The remarks from my latest MRI Thoracic Spine with Contrast say:
1. Intradural, extramedular, enhancing nodule located at the level of T4 (1.1 x 1.1 x 1.4 cm (APWCC) causing significant mass effect and compression of the spinal cord, as detailed; considerations include but not limited to spinal meningioma and schwannoma.
2. Mild thoracic spondylosis
3. Disc desiccation and mild disc bulge at T6-T7
4. Mild right facet joint and moderate left ligamentum flavum and facet joint hypertrophies.
I already exhausted all of my sick leaves and exceeded the health card limit for the sickness. Any amount would be a great help. Please help pray for my fast recovery, and thank you in advance for your help.
---------------
Last December 15, 2016 I was diagnosed with Direct Inguinal Hernia, Incarcerated with Indirect Component (Right) and was admitted to Makati Medical Center. I had to undergo Inguinal Hernia Repair, Right with Mesh. On top of this, I was also diagnosed with Blood Dyscrasia and Costochondritis , and had to go through S/P Bone Marrow Aspiration. I was admitted again to Makati Medical Center during the first week of January 2, 2017. Although I was discharged from the hospital, I am still suffering from severe chest pains and shortness of breath making it hard for me to move around. My medicines alone cost an average of Php 3,500 a week.
