Help me volunteer/work in other countries!

Hello people! My name is Cristóbal Muñoz, I'm a Chilean translation student who's extremely passionate about language and culture exchange. For me, being able to share how I see the world as a culture, as an individual, to others in exchange of whatever I can learn from them is what gives me life.

With this idea in mind, 8 years ago I started learning languages, as a Spanish native speaker, I first decided to learn English to the point of feeling confident writing or talking. Some years later, I decided that I wanted to make a living from languages and so I decided to study translation and interpretation, a career available in Concepcion, a city of Chile, there, I'm learning German and improving my English and native language, also, as a personal challenge, I'm learning Japanese by my own!

Some time later I really got into cultural exchange programs and researched about volunteering to people in need or wanted to exchange languages. The only problem is...You need money to pay for the trip! As much as the person who wants me to volunteer offers me housing options, food and other commodities, I, as a traveler still have to pay for the trip itself and/or not be a burden to whoever I'm staying with.

Still, I'm making serious efforts to save as much as I can, which had really helped (I've saved over $800 by my own!) , but paying university and my day to day living cost AND trying to save can be really difficult and that's why I wanted to make this campaign. So, if you want to help me help others and expand the learning and diversity morals, please help me with what you want! Every dollar is important to me and this campaign!

By the way, if this campaign results I'd be more than glad to share my experiences to whoever donated.
