Help me volunteer for Watamu Local Ocean Trust

This summer I'm hoping to join Watamu's Local Ocean Trust 's volunteering team. LOT is a non-profit organisation that works hard to protect the Kenyan marine environment. I will be helping out in a range of projects, from marine turtle nest protection to raising awareness in the community.

Since LOT's creation, over 10,000 turtles have been saved through the turtle net release programme that encourages fishermen to release rather than slaughter turtles accidentally caught in their fishing gear. A further 300 injured turtles were brought back to help in their rehabilitation centre and 600 nests protected.

In order to volunteer, I need to raise 500£. Please donate to my project, no matter how small, all donations will help continue LOT's valuable work.
